Fashion brand and accessory manufacturer Signal Brands recently inked a lease for 22,000 square feet of Los Angeles office space at 5600 W. Adams. The building owned by CIM Group will act as the new headquarters for Signal, which plans to move its staff from its previous location downtown.

“After many years in downtown LA, Signal Brands is thrilled to relocate to 5600 W. Adams,” said Jason Rimokh, CEO of Signal Brands. “Our new creative office space in this vibrant, flourishing neighborhood is an ideal fit for our brand and perfectly aligns with our needs as we mark the next phase of the company’s growth.”

The landlord handled the lease in-house, while Savills’ Roi Shleifer, Bart Pucci and William Tittmann represented Signal Brands. With this deal, the 30,000-square-foot property reached full occupancy, having previously signed entertainment law firm Donaldson Callif Perez to occupy 8,973 square feet of office space.

The West Adams neighborhood in South LA has witnessed a significant increase in creative office development since 2016. In particular, the opening of two Metro stops in the area was followed by a growing presence of CIM Group and The Luzzatto Company in the neighborhood. Then, earlier this year, Luzzatto secured a $54.73 million construction loan for a 107,199-square-foot creative office campus called The Depot off of Exposition Boulevard, after previously scoring a lease for Sweetgreen’s new headquarters in October 2020.

Located between South Fairfax and Hauser avenues, 5600 W. Adams offers access to an assortment of dining and entertainment experiences. The building has a modern interior design with open floor plates, exposed ductwork and floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Tenants also have access to the outdoor patios.

The property sits in a transit-oriented hub near the I-10 and California State Route 187 with easy access to West Los Angeles, Culver City, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and downtown LA. In terms of public transit, the area is serviced by the Metro E Line and the upcoming Crenshaw/LAX Rail on Exposition Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard.
